New Issue: Kodiak Oil & Gas settles $40 million stock offering

New York, March 8 - Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. said it wrapped a $40,004,250 private placement.

The company sold 19,514,268 shares at $2.05 apiece to a group of accredited investors on a non-brokered basis.

Upon completion of the offering, Kodiak has 74,061,426 outstanding shares.

Proceeds will be used for exploration and development on the company's oil and gas properties in the Greater Green River Basin and for general corporate purposes.

Based in Denver, Kodiak is an oil and natural gas exploration company.
