Kodiak Oil & Gas files $250 million shelf for debt securities, stock

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 22 - Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. filed a $250 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers debt securities, common stock and warrants.

The debt may be structured as convertibles and will be guaranteed by Kodiak Oil & Gas (USA) Inc.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Based in Denver, Kodiak is an oil and natural gas exploration company.
