Global Pharmatech, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical to collaborate

Erie, Pa., April 18 - Global Pharmatech, Inc. said it entered into a research agreement with Kobayashi Pharmaceutical.

"We are delighted with this contract, which represents another step forward in our continuous effort to expand the global reach of our research services," Global Pharmatech president and chief executive officer Xiaobo Sun said in a news release.

"Currently Natural Pharmatech (a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Pharmatech) has research partnerships with research institutions and pharmaceutical companies in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia."

Located in Jilin, China, Global Pharmatech, through its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures and markets proprietary drugs that are based on traditional Chinese medicine.

Located in Osaka, Japan, Kobayashi's operations include medical research and the distribution of dietary supplements.
