S&P puts Knowles on positive watch

Standard & Poor's said it placed its ratings for Knowles Electronics Holdings Inc., including its B- corporate credit rating and CCC senior subordinated debt rating, on credit watch with positive implications. S&P also downgraded Dover Corp., including its corporate credit rating to A from A+.

These actions follow the announcement that Dover will purchase Knowles Electronics for $750 million.

S&P said the CreditWatch positive listing for Knowles reflects Dover's stronger credit quality.
