S&P: Knology unchanged

Standard & Poor's said that recent media reports regarding Knology Inc.'s potential sale have no immediate effect on its B+ rating and stable outlook.

The company is seeking potential buyers, including financial sponsors, S&P said.

But, the agency said it cannot accurately assess the likelihood of a sale and what the resulting capital structure would be.

S&P said it will monitor any developments and respond as appropriate if details emerge that are material to Knology's credit risk.
