Knology files $150 million shelf covering stock, preferreds and debt

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 17 - Knology Inc. filed a $150 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares, debt securities, stock purchase contracts, warrants, rights and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used general corporate purposes.

Knology is a West Point, Ga.-based provider of interactive communications and entertainment services.
