Knight Libertas names Terran Miller director of fixed-income research

Knoxville, Tenn., April 14 - Knight Libertas LLC said it has appointed Terran A. Miller as a director of fixed-income research.

Miller is responsible for research covering domestic and international utilities and independent power producers as well as special situations (debt and equity).

He joined Knight Libertas in March from UBS where he was executive director of UBS - Global Credit Strategies, developing investment ideas in the electric utility, IPP, coal and energy sectors. At UBS, Terran also worked six years as executive director at UBS Investment Bank.

Miller has held credit research positions at CSFB/DLJ, Merrill Lynch, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Standard & Poor's.

He received a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a major in finance and minor in economics, from Georgetown University.

Greenwich, Conn.'s Knight Libertas is an institutional fixed-income broker-dealer. It is a subsidiary of Knight Capital Group, Inc., a financial services firm.
