By Jennifer Chiou

New York, June 3 - Knight Capital Group, Inc. announced that Knight Libertas UK has established a European credit sales and trading team based in London.

According to a news release, Neil Robertson, Andrew Linford, Tom Goodale, James Holdsworth, Simon Marriott, Spencer Harman, Daniel Cohen, Michael Levy, Nigel Perry, David Fenwick, Kayyor Rao, Justin Perry, Andrew Carrie and Geoff Capell have joined the institutional fixed-income broker-dealer.

"We are excited to be in a position to be immediately relevant to European fixed-income institutional investors with the addition of the Knight Libertas European credit sales and trading team," Gary Katcher, executive vice president, head of global institutional fixed income at Knight Capital Group, said in the release.

Robertson is responsible for managing the European credit sales and trading team and reports directly to Katcher. Among the individual team members, Robertson and Linford handle investment-grade real money sales, Goodale and Holdsworth lead investment-grade hedge fund sales, and Marriott and Harman cover high-yield sales.

Fenwick and Rao complete the investment-grade sales team while Justin Perry is a member of the high-yield sales team. Cohen, Levy and Nigel Perry run trading, with Cohen focusing on high yield, Levy trading investment-grade and crossover bonds across sectors, and Perry handling financials.

Knight Libertas provides secondary market liquidity and credit-based analysis across a broad range of fixed-income securities, including investment-grade and high-yield bonds, bank loans, emerging market credit and sovereigns. It is a subsidiary of Knight Capital, a financial services firm.
