Fitch gives KKR Financial notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an expected rating of A-(EXP) to KKR Financial Holdings, LLC's $375 million of unsecured private placement notes.

KKR Financial is a subsidiary of KKR & Co. LP, which has a long-term issuer default rating of A and a stable outlook.

Fitch said the expected unsecured debt rating is equalized with the ratings assigned to KKR Financial’s existing senior unsecured debt as the new notes will rank equally in the capital structure.
