Hall Phoenix/Inwood sells shares of AMR

Charlotte, N.C., April 23 - Hall Phoenix/Inwood, Ltd. reported the sale of 250,000 shares of AMR Corp. between March 11 and April 22 priced from $7.16 to $10.52, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shareholder's stake in AMR dipped below 5%, primarily due to issuances of common stock by AMR, the filing said.

Hall Phoenix/Inwood beneficially owns 9,899,604 shares, or 3.9%, of the Fort Worth passenger airline. Its principal subsidiary is American Airlines, Inc.
