Moody’s assigns Baa3 to Kite Realty

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 issuer rating to Kite Realty Group Trust.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the ratings reflect Kite's extensive expertise in the retail real estate sector, a high quality portfolio with strong performance metrics and well staggered debt maturities. These credit strengths are offset by Kite's small size in terms of gross assets and high-secured debt level compared to similarly rated REITs.
