Kirkpatrick adds Iltz as vice president, municipal bond credit analyst

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, July 21 - Kirkpatrick Pettis Capital Management has hired Timothy Iltz as vice president and municipal bond credit analyst, according to a press release.

Iltz will be responsible for the ongoing analysis of the existing holdings of the Aquila Tax-Free Trust of Oregon, which Kirkpatrick has been sub-adviser for since 2010, to ensure that they meet prospectus mandates and client objectives. He will also analyze Oregon municipal bond underwritings to recommend whether they should be included as part of the trust portfolio.

Iltz joins the company from Wedbush Securities, where he was vice president in fixed-income banking. He also held positions with RBC Dain Rauscher and Salomon Smith Barney. His fixed-income experience encompasses revenue bonds, certificates of participation, general obligation bonds, full faith and credit obligations, short-term notes and tax increment financings.

Kirkpatrick Pettis Capital Management is a "doing business as" name for Great Falls, Mont.-based Davidson Fixed Income Management.
