Pittsburgh, Sept. 1 - The Kirk Corp. Chapter 7 trustee Richard M. Fogel requested court approval of the proposed $2.6 million sale of subdivision property in Woodstock, Ill., to Foxford City LLC, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

The property being sold is owned by Apple Creek Estates, LLC, and consists of phases one through nine of the Apple Creek Estates subdivision.

The company will pay a 3% brokerage commission to National Asset Management Group, LLC.

A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 22.

Kirk, an employee-owned homebuilder based in Streamwood, Ill., filed for bankruptcy on May 12, 2009. Its Chapter 7 case number is 09-17236.
