Kirk's official committee of unsecured creditors appointed by court

Portland, Ore., May 29 - The Kirk Corp.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by its Chapter 11 trustee, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

The committee consists of:

• Jennifer L. Johnson for Lenny Szarek Inc., of McHenry, Ill.;

• Tracey Blanchard of Blanchard Electrical Contractors, Inc., based in Sycamore, Ill.;

• Karen Rust of Coleman Floor Co., based in Elgin, Ill.;

• Gary Doles of Tempco Heating & Air Conditioning Co., located in Arlington Heights, Ill.;

• David Solari of CCR Tops Inc., located in Elgin, Ill.;

• Martin T. Burke of Mackie Consultants, based in Rosemont, Ill.; and

• Frank Zubricki of Professional Drywall & Decorating LLC, based in Crystal Lake, Ill.

Kirk is an employee-owned homebuilder based in Streamwood, Ill. It filed for bankruptcy on May 12. Its Chapter 11 case number is 0917236.
