By Tali Rackner

Norfolk, Va., March 3 - King & Spalding said it added debt finance lawyer Ellen M. Snare as a partner in its financial institutions practice, according to a press release.

Snare joins King & Spalding from Kirkland & Ellis, where she was a partner. She will be based in New York.

"Ellen is an excellent leveraged-finance lawyer with extensive experience advising a range of major private equity, finance and middle-market clients," William H. Fuller, co-leader of the financial institutions practice, said in a news release. "We have worked opposite Ellen on a number of transactions and have been impressed by her skill and motivation."

Snare represents lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide variety of debt financings, including LBOs, second-lien and subordinated loans, asset-based lending facilities, restructurings, workouts and debtor-in-possession financings.

King & Spalding is an international law firm based in Atlanta.
