Moody's gives King loan Ba3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 rating to the senior secured credit facility of King Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Moody's said it also affirmed King's Ba3 corporate family rating.

The outlook remains stable.

According to the agency, the Ba3 corporate family rating and stable outlook are supported by the company's solid financial metrics and ample liquidity, which are very strong for a "Ba" company.

In addition, Moody's said it views favorably the company's efforts to refocus its strategy to develop core competencies in the pain management, neuroscience and acute care markets.
