Moody's: Kinetic sale is positive

Moody's Investors Service said that Kinetic Concepts, Inc.'s announced sale of its Therapeutic Support Systems business to Getinge Group for $275 million is credit positive.

Despite modestly increasing Kinetic Concepts' debt to EBITDA in the near-term, Moody's said it views the divesture as positive because it frees up management and capital resources in order to focus on the company's bigger, more profitable Advanced Healing Solutions and Lifecell businesses.
