Moody's: Kinetic Concepts unchanged

Moody's Investors Service said that the announcement that Kinetic Concepts, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by a consortium of private equity investors has no immediate effect on the company's ratings.

Moody's said that the consortium, including Apax Partners, affiliates of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, has secured committed debt financing to fund the $6.3 billion transaction.
