Kinetic Concepts redeemed $34.3 million 7 3/8% notes in quarter

New York, Aug. 3 - Kinetic Concepts Inc. said it redeemed $34.3 million of its 7 3/8% senior subordinated notes due 2013 during the second quarter, which ended June 30.

The redemption was in addition to the previously reported repayment of $30 million of credit facility borrowings.

In total, the San Antonio, Texas, medical device company prepaid $186.1 million of debt during the first half of the year.
