S&P rates Kinder Morgan notes BBB-

Standard & Poor’s said it assigned its BBB- issue-level rating to Kinder Morgan Inc.’s proposed euro-denominated senior unsecured notes.

The company intends to use net proceeds to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility and commercial paper program and for general corporate purposes.

The corporate credit rating is BBB-, and the outlook is stable.
