AMP Holding raises $650,000 through $2.84 million private placement

Company sells common stock at $0.40 apiece through multiple tranches

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 27 - AMP Holding Inc. settled a $650,000 tranche of a $2.84 million private placement of stock on Sept. 22, according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company raised $2.19 million in the placement from March 15 through Aug. 27.

The company sold a total of 5,473,500 common shares at $0.40 apiece. The price per share reflects a 42.03% discount to $0.69, the Sept. 15 closing share price.

John Carris Investments LLC was the agent.

The Overland Park, Kan., company designs, markets and sells modified automobiles.
