S&P affirms Kimberly-Clark de Mexico

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its A- long-term corporate credit rating on Kimberly-Clark de Mexico, SAB de CV.

The agency said it also affirmed its mxAAA national-scale corporate credit rating on the company.

The outlook is stable.

"The ratings on Kimberly-Clark de Mexico reflect the company's strong business-risk profile in the stable consumer-products sector in Mexico, low financial leverage, good cash-flow protection measures, and efficient operations," said credit analyst Monica Ponce.

According to S&P, Kimberly-Clark de Mexico benefits from the implicit support of parent Kimberly-Clark Corp. (A/stable/A-1) in products, processes, and research and development.
