Fitch gives A to Kimberly-Clark notes

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to Kimberly-Clark Corp.’s newly issued €500 million seven-year senior unsecured notes due September 2024.

The outlook is stable.

The notes, senior obligations of the company, rank equally with all the company’s present and future unsecured and unsubordinated debt.

Proceeds will be used to repay a portion of Kimberly-Clark's outstanding commercial paper, which was incurred in order to repay part of its $950 million 6.125% note, which matured Aug. 1, 2017.
