Moody’s rates Kimberly-Clark notes A2

Moody’s Investors Service said it rated Kimberly-Clark Corp.’s $350 million of 10-year senior unsecured notes A2.

The agency affirmed the issuer’s A2 ratings on June 22.

Kimberly-Clark will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including repaying debt.

“This is a credit positive because it terms out debt maturities,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
