New York, March 2 - Kimber Resources Inc. has completed two private placements for C$14,095,000.
In a non-brokered offering, the company sold a total of 5.8 million shares at C$2.00 each, including an option for 2 million additional shares.
In a brokered placement, the company sold 1,247,500 shares at C$2.00 each. The brokered deal was oversubscribed by 97,500 shares.
Puplava Securities Inc. was the placement agent for the brokered offering.
The deals priced on Feb. 21. The non-brokered offering was originally announced as a C$7.6 million deal of 3.8 million shares and included an option for up to 2 million extra shares.
The brokered deal originally included 1.15 million shares.
Proceeds will be used for drilling on the company's Carmen and Carotare deposits and on the El Orito Norte exploration target. The rest will be used for general corporate purposes.
Based in Vancouver, B.C., Kimber is a gold and silver exploration company.
