S&P ups Amphenol

Standard & Poor's said it raised the corporate credit rating on Amphenol Corp. to BBB from BBB-, reflecting continued strong cash flow generation, moderate financial policies and consistent, strong operating performance.

The agency also said it raised the rating on the company's $600 million of senior unsecured notes to BBB from BBB-.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the company's satisfactory business profile and relatively moderate financial policies and leverage, S&P said.

Limited portfolio diversity partly offsets these factors, the agency said.
