By Reshmi Basu

New York, Oct. 20 - The City of Kiev set price guidance for a $250 million offering of 10-year notes (B2/B+ expected) in the area of 8%, according to a market source.

Credit Suisse First Boston will issue the loan participation notes. The City of Kiev, via the Kiev City Council, will borrow the notes.

Citigroup and Credit Suisse First Boston are running the Rule 144A/Regulation S transaction.

Proceeds will be used to fund the city's budget.

The roadshow is scheduled to end Thursday on the U.S. West Coast.
