Atlanta, March 29 - Kids Campus Ltd. said it has completed a private placement of stock for A$13 million.
The company sold 7,462,686 shares at A$0.67 each for A$5 million in a brokered offering.
Chimaera Capital Ltd. was the underwriter in the brokered portion of the deal.
The company also issued 12,698,412 shares in a non-brokered offering at A$0.63 each. Investec Bank Ltd. and Investec Wentworth Private Equity Ltd. bought the non-brokered shares for proceeds of A$2 million and A$6 million, respectively.
Based in Queensland, Australia, Kids Campus operates a chain of childcare centers. The company plans to use the proceeds to open new centers. The remainder will be used for working capital.
