Germany's KfW files $20.77 billion debt securities shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., May 17 - KfW filed a $20.77 billion debt securities shelf registration in a Schedule B filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The total amount of the shelf registration includes $13.27 billion of previously registered but unsold securities.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used by KfW for its general business.

The German government-owned bank is based in Frankfurt.
