By Cristal Cody

Chicago, July 11 – KfW is in the market with global notes due July 15, 2033, according to a market source.

The notes are being talked in the SOFR mid-swaps plus 47 basis points area.

BMO Capital Markets, BNP Paribas and Citigroup are the bookrunners on the deal.

In a press release, the bank said that it was planning to issue around €31 billion in the second half of 2023. The bank raised €54 billion in the first half of the year in the global capital markets.

KfW said that it plans to keep focusing on the U.S. dollar “as a strategically important currency (in addition to the euro) in the second half of the year.”

The bank also plans to issue more green bonds.

KfW is a government-backed bank based in Frankfurt.
