KfW guides €1 billion tap of 2031 notes in mid-swaps plus 15 bps area

Chicago, Nov. 9 – KfW (Aaa/AAA/AAA) is guiding a €1 billion tap of its zero-coupon green notes due Sept. 15, 2031 in the mid-swaps plus 15 basis points area, according to a market source.

The issue is expected to price on Tuesday.

Federal Republic of Germany is guaranteeing the Regulation S issue.

The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Bookrunners are listed as BNP Paribas, Danske Bank and DZ Bank.

Proceeds will be used to finance new eligible green projects.

Cicero Shades of Green provided the second opinion.

The notes will be fungible with an earlier €3 billion issue.

KfW is a German government-backed bank based in Frankfurt.
