KfW selects three bookrunners for dollar green bonds due 2030

New York, Aug. 17 – KfW (Aaa/AAA/AAA) has selected bookrunners for a planned offering of U.S. dollar-denominated green bonds with a 10-year tenor, according to a market source on Monday.

BNP Paribas, BofA Securities and Citigroup have been mandated to manage the transaction, which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The proceeds are will be used for loan programs that seek to further energy efficient construction and the use of renewable energies.

The issue is expected to be launched in the near future, subject to market conditions.

KfW is a Frankfurt-based government-backed bank.
