Keystone Consolidated posts $2.32 million June operating profit

Pittsburgh, July 13 - Keystone Consolidated Industries, Inc. reported a $2.32 million operating profit in June on sales of $23.16 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

In May, the company posted a $926,000 operating profit on sales of $5.41 million.

The net loss for June was $3.49 million, compared to a $532,000 net income in May.

Cash on June 30 was $5.41 million, up from $718,000 at the end of May.

Keystone, a Dallas-based fencing and wiring company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 26, 2004 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-22422.
