Keystone Consolidated Industries earned $1.61 million in February

Washington, March 16 - Keystone Consolidated Industries Inc. earned $1.61 million in February after reporting a net loss of $2.53 million for January, according to its monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Operating profit for the month was $3.00 million, up from a loss of $1.21 million in January.

However, sales dipped to $28.89 million from $30.3 million a month earlier.

Total cash at the end of February was $4.77 million compared with $3.63 million at the end of January.

Keystone, a Dallas-based fencing and wiring company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 26, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-22422.
