KeyCorp plans to redeem all $300 million 6.675% notes on Oct. 21

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 19 – KeyCorp said it will redeem all $300 million of its 6.675% senior notes due 2020 on Oct. 21, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The redemption price will be par plus a make-whole premium plus accrued interest, if any, to but not including the redemption date.

The notes were initially issued by First Niagara Financial Group, Inc., which merged with and into KeyCorp on Aug. 1, 2016.

KeyCorp is a Cleveland-based financial services company.
