Norfolk, Va., July 22 – KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. announced that that Anne-Marie Peterson has joined the bank as a managing director in its leveraged finance group, according to a press release.

In this role, she will be responsible for working with middle market private equity firms to market, structure and execute various types of event-driven transactions. She will be based in New York and report to Robert Scelza, managing director and head of the leveraged finance group.

“Anne-Marie will be a valuable resource in our leveraged finance group as we continue to deepen and expand our capabilities in the space,” Scelza said in the release.

“Her extensive work with corporations and financial sponsors will be helpful to both current and future clients as we develop individual structure and financing strategies to meet their business needs.”

Peterson brings 15 years of experience in leveraged finance investment banking. Prior to joining KeyBanc Capital Markets, she was at Credit Suisse Securities where she worked in the financial sponsors group. Previously, Peterson worked at Lehman Brothers Inc. and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.

KeyBanc Capital Markets is the corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp.
