Key3Media misses coupon

New York, Dec. 16 - Key3Media Group, Inc. said it failed to make the interest payment due Dec. 16 on its 11.25% senior subordinated notes due 2011.

The Los Angeles information technology conference company said it has a 30-day grace period before the non-payment becomes a default.

It added that there is a "substantial risk" it will be unable to make the payment before the grace period expires.
