By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Feb. 21 – Kenya launched on Wednesday $2 billion of eurobonds in 10-year and 30-year tranches to yield 7¼% and 8¼%, respectively, according to a syndicate source.

The $1 billion 2028 tranche was initially talked at 7 5/8%, and the $1 billion 2048 tranche was initially talked at 8 5/8%.

Final pricing, expected later Wednesday, comes 10 days after the deal was announced and following five days of fixed-income investor meetings in the United States and London.

Citigroup, JPMorgan, Standard Bank and Standard Chartered were bookrunners of the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.
