Moody’s rates Kemper notes Ba1
Moody's Investors Service said it gave Kemper Corp.’s $150 million of 40-year junior subordinated notes being issued from its multi-purpose shelf registration a Ba1(hyb) rating.
The agency affirmed Kemper’s (P) Ba1 junior subordinated shelf rating on Feb. 11.
The proceeds are expected to be used for general corporate purposes.
The outlook for Kemper remains unchanged at stable.
