New Issue: Malaysia’s AMMB sells RM 350 million 5.23% 10-year subordinated notes

Morgantown, W.Va., March 15 – AMMB Holdings Bhd. issued RM 350 million of 5.23% subordinated notes on Wednesday, according to a Bursa Malaysia announcement.

The 10-year notes are non-callable for five years.

This is the fourth tranche of notes under the company’s RM 10 billion subordinated notes program.

Proceeds will be used to invest in capital instruments of AMMB’s subsidiaries.

AMMB is a Kuala Lumpur-based retail and commercial bank.
