New Issue: Malaysia’s AMMB sells RM 740 million 5.2% 10-year subordinated notes

New York, March 16 – AMMB Holdings Bhd. issued RM 740 million of 5.2% 10-year subordinated notes, according to a notice from the issuer.

The debt is non-callable for five years.

AMMB sold the notes as the second tranche under its RM 10 billion subordinated notes program.

Proceeds will be invested in capital instruments of the issuer’s subsidiaries.

AMMB is a Kuala Lumpur-based retail and commercial bank.
