New Issue: Malaysia’s AMMB sells RM 10 million 5˝% 10-year subordinated notes

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 3 – AMMB Holdings Bhd. issued RM 10 million of 5˝% subordinated notes on Dec. 30, according to a Bursa Malaysia announcement.

The 10-year notes are non-callable for five years.

This is the first tranche of notes under the company’s recently launched RM 10 billion subordinated notes program.

Proceeds will be used for working capital.

AMMB is a Kuala Lumpur-based retail and commercial bank.
