KB Toys shows $4.92 million operating loss in June
New York, Aug. 2 - KB Toys, Inc. said it had a $4.92 million operating loss for the month to July 2, better than the $6.92 million loss in May, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Sales for the month were $47.99 million, improved from $33.39 million the previous month.
The net loss for the month to July 2 was $4.03 million, down from a $4.92 million loss in May.
The Pittsfield, Mass.-based toy retailer filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 14, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-10120.
