Korea’s Kookmin Bank plans five-year sustainability covered bond

New York, July 1 – South Korea’s KB Kookmin Bank is planning to offer a euro-denominated five-year sustainability covered bond, according to a market source.

The lender has selected BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Credit Agricole CIB, JPMorgan, HSBC and Societe Generale as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers to arrange a series of fixed income investor conference calls beginning on Wednesday.

The sale of Regulation S only notes, backed by Korean residential mortgages is subject to market conditions.

Kookmin Bank is a lender based in Seoul.
