Madison, Wis., Jan. 30 - KazTransGas Aimak JSC placed KZT 2.63 billion of 7½% bonds at a special trading session on Wednesday, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange notice.
The five-year bonds were sold at a net price of 97.2053 to yield 8.2%. Proceeds totaled KZT 2.57 billion.
Active orders were submitted for KZT 4.65 billion of the bonds. The net price on submitted orders ranged from 94.8934 to 97.2053, and yields ranged from 8.2% to 8.8%.
The amount of accepted orders represents 39% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 6,681,691,000 of bonds. The company registered to issue a total of KZT 12,409,636,000 of the bonds in December.
KazTransGas Aimak held an initial special trading session on Dec. 28 to offer the 7½% bonds, but no bonds were placed due to unfavorable prices. Another trading session was then scheduled for Jan. 9, but on Jan. 6 the company cancelled the placement.
Asyl-Invest acted as the seller.
The gas supply company, a subsidiary of National Co. KazMunayGas JSC, is based in Astana, Kazakhstan.
