S&P affirms Kaztemirtrans

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its BB+ long-term corporate credit and kzAA- Kazakhstan national-scale ratings on JSC Kaztemirtrans, 100% owned by Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ, BB+/stable, Kazakhstan national-scale kzAA-).

The outlook is stable.

The agency said that the ratings on Kaztemirtrans reflect KTZ's credit quality, noting that it takes a consolidated view of the KTZ group and equalize the long-term rating on Kaztemirtrans with that on KTZ, because Kaztemirtrans is a strategic core subsidiary of KTZ.
