Amkor plans to repay $97 million term loan

New York, July 10 - Amkor Technology Inc. said it plans to repay its $97 million term loan following the completion of the sale of 20 million shares of Anam Semiconductor Inc.'s common stock to Dongbu Group. The equity transaction is expected to close within the next 60 days.

The company's $100 million revolver will remain in place, the company added.

Amkor is a West Chester, Pa. provider of contract microelectronics assembly and test services.
