Kazkommertsbank repurchases some 6 7/8% bonds for €18 million, 7½% bonds for $48 million

Chicago, May 15 - Kazkommertsbank International BV said it bought back some of its €750 million of 6 7/8% bonds due Jan. 29, 2017 for €18 million and some of its $494.49 million 7½% bonds due Nov. 29, 2016 for $48 million.

The Almaty, Kazakhstan-based bank made the purchases on May 5.

There is €732 million of the 6 7/8% bonds outstanding and $446.49 million of the 7½% bonds outstanding.
