Moody's could lower Kazkommertsbank

Moody's Investors Service said it placed under review for downgrade Kazkommertsbank's Baa2/P-2 global local-currency deposit and senior unsecured debt foreign-currency ratings, Baa3 foreign currency-backed subordinated debt rating and Ba1 foreign currency-backed junior subordinated debt rating. Moody's affirmed the foreign-currency deposit ratings at Ba1/NP with a stable outlook.

The possible downgrade reflects Moody's concerns about the bank's rapid growth over the past few years as well as the recent turbulence in the international capital markets, according to the agency.
