Moody's rates Kazinvestbank B2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Kazinvestbank B2 long-term and not-prime short-term local- and foreign-currency deposit ratings and an E+ bank financial strength rating.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings are underpinned by the bank's acceptable corporate governance and risk management systems and reasonable capitalization that should be sufficient to absorb loan losses, Moody's said.

The ratings are constrained by a high borrower concentration in the loan book, its small size and underdeveloped franchise and weak asset quality and profitability, the agency said.
